Welcome to Functional Doctors! By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
Please take time to read the following terms carefully. They form the basis of your agreement with Functional Doctors.
2. Communication with Your GP
To comply with our medical regulator, the GMC, we will communicate with your GP to maintain a complete set of your medical records. This includes:
Informing them that we are involved in your care.
Notifying them of any medical prescriptions generated.
Requesting assistance, such as generating a referral.
If you do not agree to this communication, we will respect your decision; however, it may limit certain prescriptions.
3. Booking Policy
We accept bookings via telephone, email, and our website. All bookings will be confirmed via email.
By booking an appointment with Dr Gill or Dr Rajah you accept these Terms & Conditions.
4. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation by You
If you need to postpone or cancel your appointment, please contact us as soon as possible.
Postponements are generally not accepted for appointments within 3 working days of the request.
Cancellations or postponements made less than 3 business days in advance may incur the full appointment fee unless we can fill your slot.
There is a £25 charge for rescheduling more than 3 times.
Cancellations outside this timeframe will incur a £10 admin charge; refunds may take 5-10 days to process.
Cancellation by Us
We reserve the right to cancel appointments if we believe we cannot provide beneficial services or due to unforeseen circumstances. You will not be charged for cancellations made by us.
5. Payment Policy
Payment is required prior to your appointment. An invoice will be sent with our bank details once your appointment is confirmed.
The consultation fee does not cover external tests or supplements.
6. Follow-Up Policy
Regular follow-ups help assess your situation and adjust your treatment plan. We recommend follow-ups every 3-6 months unless otherwise advised.
7. Repeat Prescription Policy
Our clinic can only issue private prescriptions.
Fees for private prescriptions are £25.
Prescriptions can be sent to you or directly.
8. Acute or New Symptoms
We do not provide acute medical care. If you develop acute symptoms, please contact your GP or emergency services.
9. Sharing of Clinical Information
Your practitioner may share information with third parties to support your healthcare. Consent is required for effective coordination with other providers.
Information will only be shared on an as-needed basis.
10. Arranging Appointments
Appointments can be booked online or via email. You must ensure the accuracy of the information provided.
Confirmation emails will detail your appointment. If any details are incorrect, contact us immediately.
11. Fees
Fees quoted are in pounds sterling and may change without notice. Once your appointment is confirmed, the cost will not change unless there are invoice errors.
12. Email Policy
Due to high email volume, we may limit time for responses.
We endeavor to respond to emails within 2 working days.
13. Complaints Procedure
If you have any issues, please contact your doctor or email us at info@functionaldoctors.com. We aim to resolve concerns promptly.
14. Supplement Use
Always keep healthcare providers informed of all medications and supplements. Discuss changes with your GP/specialist.
15. Testing
We use various laboratories for tests. Payment is required before ordering, and additional fees may apply for interpretation of results.
16. Medical Records System
We use Semble for secure medical records and invoicing. For more information, visit Semble's Terms.

17. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions. Changes will be posted on this page, and your continued use constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
